Departmental Requirements

1. Priority goes to the applicants with Chinese lesson credits or a certificate for Chinese Proficiency test.
2. Applications from non-English speaking countries are required to provide at least one of the following English proficiency test scores which were taken within the preceding two years, or provide the transcripts of English courses taken before.
A. Minimum TOEFL score of internet-based TOEFL at least 61 or computer-based TOEFL 173
B. GMAT score at top 70%
C. GRE score at top 70%
D. Minimum TOEIC score 650
E. GEPT (General English Proficiency Test) High-Intermediate Level
F. IELTS 5.5
3. Applicants from Australia, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, and United States of America or have studied and earned degree in these countries can provide the document and waive the English proficiency test scores.

Undergraduate program:
Most Undergraduate courses are conducted in Chinese with the usage of English materials. Undergraduate applicants are expected to have basic Chinese and English language skills.

Postgraduate program:
Applicants for the master and doctoral programs are suggested to visit the department website and contact the professors that could be their potential advisor.
