Departmental Requirements

1. Priority goes to the applicants with Chinese lesson credits or a certificate for Chinese Proficiency test.
2. Applications from non-English speaking countries are required to provide English proficiency certificate (such as TOEFL, TOEIC or IELTS). The English proficiency certificate is not required for applicants whose previous degree is from an English-speaking country (Australia, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa or the United States of America), but the applicants have to provide their diplomas as proof.

Undergraduate program:
Most Undergraduate courses are conducted in Chinese with the usage of English materials. Undergraduate applicants are expected to have basic Chinese and English language skills.

Postgraduate program:
Applicants for the master and doctoral programs are suggested to visit the department website and contact the professors that could be their potential advisor.
