Departmental Requirements

1. Applicants should have basic Chinese skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing; priority goes to the applicants with Chinese lesson credits or a certificate for Chinese Proficiency test.
2. Applicants from non-English speaking countries are required to provide English proficiency certificate (such as TOEFL, TOEIC or IELTS).
3. The English proficiency certificate is not required for applicants whose previous degree is from an English-speaking country (Australia, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa or the United States of America) but the applicants have to provide their diplomas as proof.
4. Undergraduate program applicants: If applicable, please provide the official score and rank reports of any college scholastic aptitude tests.
5. Other supporting documents.
6. The Ph D. applicant should provide Master's thesis or other related publications (English) if available.
