NCKU provides free tutoring for certain courses at the undergraduate level. The tutors are NCKU students with outstanding academic performance, and provide foreign students with one-on-one tutoring sessions in subjects they need assistance with.

Chinese Language Courses for Degree-seeking Students

NCKU provides free Chinese language courses (Chinese Classes for Foreign Students, CFS) upon applying for one academic year. The courses provide sessions of 3 hours per week equivalent to 2 credits in a semester. Only new students are eligible to apply. The classes are offered in different levels to suit each student’s needs. This is a great opportunity for anyone wishing to learn Chinese and to have an in-depth understanding of the local culture.
